We just finished the process of moving impressions to it’s new location at 1300 E Arendell. Our new focus for the gallery will be on my artwork, and my husband David's photography. This is a working studio space and will allow me to show work to the public. I’ve been painting our coastal environment now for about 14 years and it still is such and inspiration. I have a large repertoire of blue herons, egrets, waves and marshes. Most of my paintings are a cross between realistic and impressionistic with an emphasis of color. My canvases can be bold or soft depending of the palate. This gallery will have my original artwork but the plan is to work with clients on commissions. I am so fortunate and happy that this space became available. This location has gone under a major restoration and the synergy between the other businesses s great.
Impressions had represents over 20 artists for nearly 5 years, and it has been a wonderful and rewarding experience for Janet and her husband David to represent such talented artists. "We are so grateful for the chance to put all their work in front of you and we appreciate all of you who have come through the doors of the gallery to enjoy the art."
